Postponment of all fall 2020 concerts

June 23, 2020

Dear Past, Present, or Future MCCCA Subscriber/Sponsor,

Our booking agent, Allied Concert Services, has notified us that they will be postponing all upcoming concerts
scheduled through December 2020 for the safety of subscribers and performers due to the current Covid 19
pandemic. They hope that all concerts scheduled in the 2nd half of the season (winter/spring 2021) will proceed as
scheduled but will be subject to cancellation if necessary.

Allied's plan is to have the postponed concerts from this fall/winter 2020 be rescheduled to the fall/winter of 2021.
I'm enclosing a copy of Allied's letter to all their concert associations explaining the reasons for the postponement.

Due to Allied's decision to postpone concerts scheduled for the 1st. half of the 2020-21 season we have decided to
postpone (suspend) our season ticket sales campaign until December 1st. By then we should have heard from
Allied as to whether they will move forward with the 2nd half of the season or will be cancelling the remaining

We will continue to keep you informed of decisions by Allied and the status of the upcoming season. The safety of
our subscribers and performers is our primary focus. All decisions going forward will revolve around your safety.

Refunds will be offered for the upcoming 2020-21 season to our paid subscribers and sponsors by request. Refund
requests for the upcoming season should be mailed to me at or mailed to our PO Box
mailing address.

Looking forward: If the 2nd half of this season takes place, we hope to offer a mini (short) season in winter/spring
of 2022. After that we expect to return to a normal schedule of concerts for the 2022-23 season.
Refunds 2019-20 Season: We have three refund options for the two cancelled concerts from this past season
(Joy Swing and Beginnings concerts):

1. Refund - Current adult subscribers will receive a $20 refund ($10 per concert ) for the two concerts that
have been cancelled. Family Subscribers will receive a $42 refund ($21 per concert).

2. Apply refund to this season's (2020-21) subscription campaign.

3. Donate refund to the Association (Morgan County Community Concerts Association).

Please notify us of your choice of refund option by either emailing us at
or mailing us at our PO Box address by July 12 (Sunday), 2020. Those not responding by the deadline will have
their refund donated to the Association - Thank You.

Morgan County Community Concerts Association (MCCCA) is a non-profit membership organization committed to bringing artists and South Central Indiana area audiences together in a high quality, affordable concert series. This world class concert series provides an opportunity to share and enhance the musical experience of our diverse community. Our Board of Directors is dedicated to cultivating an interest and appreciation in music and the performing arts in Morgan County and in the teaching of music, history of music, and music appreciation in our schools.

Community leaders founded The Morgan County Community Concert Association, in 1994 in a community that is below average in income and cultural opportunities. MCCCA is striving to provide cultural events to every local man, woman, and child in Morgan County, many of who might not otherwise be exposed to such performances.

Many famous musicians came up through the community concert circuit and our past performances have been an essential mix of renowned artists and young performers on their way to prominence.

MCCCA places special emphasis on student outreach and provides concerts in elementary schools each year and brings classroom to the Martinsville, Monrovia and Mooresville High Schools whenever possible. These rotating concerts are held during regular school day hours with the cooperation of the various artists scheduled for the regular concert series. Students are allowed question and answer time with the artists and then encouraged to bring their parents free of charge to the regularly scheduled concert.
