The Windom, Minnesota Concert Association had it’s beginning by associating with the University of Minnesota Lyceum series in the middle of the 1930’s. They then chartered in the 1940’s and have operated continuously ever since. With the exception of two years, concerts have been held in the High School Auditorium. When the school system vacated the building, it was purchased by a nonprofit group called Business Arts and Recreation or BARC. It is an excellent concert hall built in 1931 and has been updated continually to this day. Many Artists express their love of performing there.
Through the efforts of the Concert Association, Windom and the surrounding area have been able to enjoy such artists as: Fred Waring, Marian Anderson, Mac Frampton, The Young Americans, The Duttons, the Golden Strings and many more. The Association strives to bring outstanding, live talent to our hall at an affordable price.
