This 2018-19 Season is The Delta-Montrose Community Concert Association’s 70th Anniversary.  For seven decades the Association has brought to the residents of Delta and Montrose Counties nationally recognized performers who are normally found in larger cities.  These programs have included a wide range of vocal and instrumental talents  - from classical, operatic and ballet to folk singers, boys’ choirs and dancers, to Broadway, Dixieland and comedy acts.  A sampling includes: the Texas Boys’ Choir, Four Freshmen, Irish Light Orchestra of Dublin, Dizzy Gillespie, Roger Wagner Chorale, New Christy Minstrels, and more recently the Church Basement Ladies, Work of the Weavers, The Limeliters, Russian Dancers, Riders in the Sky, and J. Mark McVey.  The programs generally include not only musical numbers, but often treats for the audience by way of the visual delight of bright costumes, education about unusual instruments and the performers’ humorous interaction with the audience – all in all which make for enjoyable evenings of entertainment.

Organizational Purpose
