For the 2022-23 Season, the start time for the concerts is 7:00 p.m. except for the 2 p.m. matinee for the concert on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
COVID: As the situation is now, we do not expect to have any COVID restrictions in place this coming season, although we do encourage those attending to respect any people in the audience who feel more comfortable wearing masks.
Intermissions/Refreshments: There may be some concerts without intermissions, but as to the concerts which have an intermission, we will not serve refreshments during that time. This is not a precaution against COVID. Rather because of restrictions by the Performing Arts Center, there is not a room available to conveniently serve them.
Adult guests of a member may be admitted for $15 each rather than the normal $20 single admission price.
If a capacity crowd is anticipated at our Delta venue, seating will be guaranteed for members with season tickets and their guests until 20 minutes before the start time. If seating remains available at that time, then non-members may enter within 20 minutes prior to the starting time, upon paying the single admission price or by showing their tickets with a sister venue.
Reciprocity this season. Your ticket lists the concerts at sister venues on the Western Slope. [Cortez is not offering reciprocity this season.] You may use your ticket to attend concerts in the listed locations without charge – so long as they have sufficient seating for their own members. If you wish to attend a concert in Mesa County (CCGV), they have a policy (for those who are already in Grand Junction), to call the Avalon Theater (970-263-5757) within an hour before the concert starts to learn if seats are available for the concert. If there is seating, then you will be able to go to the Avalon box office, show your DMCCA ticket and obtain an official Avalon ticket for a specified seat.
