Krinke Ellinger Duo, Music for Violin & Piano

As a special concert to celebrate its 75th Anniversary Season, the Delta-Montrose Community Concert Association is pleased to present two accomplished, award-winning musicians: Violinist, Brian Krinke, Assistant Professor/Upper Strings at Colorado Mesa University, and Pianist, Susan Ellinger, on the Piano Faculty at Oberlin College. They will perform as a duo playing jazz-influenced compositions by Nikolai Kapustin and the music of William Grant Still, the Dean of Afro-American composers, plus additional pieces demonstrating the blending of the beautiful harmony of the piano and the violin. This mostly classical program is representative of many of the concerts which the Association presented in the early seasons of its 75-year history. |
