Policies

For the 2023-24 Season, the start time for the evening concerts is 7:00 p.m., but the two matinee concerts set on Sunday October 22, 2023, and Sunday, February 4, 2024, will each start at 3 p.m.

COVID:  Presently we do not expect to have any COVID restrictions in place for the coming season, although we do encourage those attending to respect any people in the audience who feel more comfortable wearing masks.

If a capacity crowd is anticipated for a given concert, seating will be assured for members with season tickets and their guests until 20 minutes before the start time.  If seating remains available at that time, then non-members may enter within 20 minutes before the start time, upon paying the single admission price or by showing a ticket with a sister venue.

Reciprocity this season. Your ticket lists the concerts at sister venues on the Western Slope.  [Cortez is not offering reciprocity this season.]  You may use your ticket to attend concerts in the listed locations without charge – so long as they have sufficient seating for their own members.  If you wish to attend a concert in Mesa County (CCGV), they have a policy (for those who are already in Grand Junction), to call the Avalon Theater (970-263-5757) within an hour before the concert starts to learn if seats are available for the concert.  If there is seating, then you will be able to go to the Avalon box office, show your DMCCA ticket and obtain an official Avalon ticket for a specified seat.
